Spring Festival -HANAMI-

Hello!!
I'm Mika.
I'm going to introduce Sakura and HANAMI .

-What is a Sakura?-

Sakura is... a cherry blossoms. This is a Sakura reef.
Sakura is a Japan's unofficial national flower .There are many dozens of different cherry tree varieties in Japan, most of which bloom for just a couple of days in spring.
Sakura is known by every Japanese. It is a symbol of spring.
In Japan, if Sakura blooms around March and April, Japanese think that spring is coming.
A weather forecaster expects the time that Sakura will come out every year.
Japanese also think that spring is coming.
The date of Sakura in 27. March in Japan.

This is a yen. Sakura is drawn on the reverse side of a coin.

There are proverbs about Sakura.
For example, [Cake before flowers /Substance rather than the trappings.]
[花より団子]
It means substance rather than the trappings.

In fact, Sakura is a Japan's unofficial national flower.
But I think it is known by Japanese. It is used coin, proved and anything.
So, I think Sakura is a Japan's national flower.

-What is a HANAMI?-
HANAMI(cherry blossom viewing) is...

We see Sakura under the blooming trees and eating.
Young and old sit around lunch or dinner and juice and alcoholic drink.
They have a good time.

   They eat...

a luxurious meal

ordinary meal

So Everyone is enjoying with family or colleague or friends.

In case of colleague

In Japan, a new school term and company start on April. There are New Year's party for a new employees welcomes party at HANAMI.
The person who entered a company last year, get the space for HANAMI.
Boss and other colleagues demand space which we can see beautiful Sakura in HANAMI.
At the famous place, employees go to get to the good place in the early morning.
They feel pressure.

So if you end the HANAMI, you must take garbage your home.
You must not leave the garbage there.
